Like most Marvel readers, we've gotten burnt out by the annual and more than one, mega story line that will "change the Marvel Universe forever". It's gotten tiresome and almost all the big shocking changes that they drop on us are mostly undone within a few months so what's the point? This story line was true to Spider-Man mythos and his very LARGE supporting list of characters including some very one off bad guys. I loved the idea of every animal themed character being kidnapped by Kraven the Hunter and then trapped and hunted. It was so great and made me remember why I loved comics as a kid when you could pick up an issue of Fantastic Four, X-Men, Avengers or Spider-Man and their would be guest stars and team ups and guest villains that you would not expect. Who can forget Marvel Team-Up Starring Spider-Man or even Marvel Two-In-One Featuring the Thing with a guest star every issue and a villain that would not normally be seen in their pages. This was very much a throwback to that. One issue was devoted to the sad misunderstood history of a character (who I will not name as this person dies) but it was sad and tragic. Something that most comics just don't bring out. I think we've become desensitized by these huge story arcs where hundreds and thousands of characters die all the time. It's almost too much to comprehend and therefore not something we can identify with. But a one on one death is something that can move you. This was a very enjoyable story and if you like Spider-Man, you will really enjoy this.

This is the climax of a face off that has been building for a couple of story arcs, and it was worth the wait. Granted, they took their time getting there, but the end of the Kraven/Spider-Man saga was more satisfying than I would have imagined. The journey was a little disjointed, like they wanted the story to fill more pages than they had material for, so they threw in some side material. But the side stories were relevant and had emotional depth, so enjoy them for what they are. Some of the comics had poor artists, which is unfortunate, but didn't distract from the story too much. The story is worth your money.

This volume is awesome it includes the prelude issue, the main story, and the tie-in issues and they are in order unlike other spidey volumes. It's a great lengthy story that is so worth the time especially if you're a kraven the hunter fan since this is basically his story. The art does change throughout the book but not so drastically that it brings you out of enjoying it. Overall it's a great ending and new beginning for kraven.

This book has the old Spider-Man series taste that was forgotten for a long time. The only problem I had was the drawings in the last chapter.

5.0 out of 5 stars Jam-packed with great art, and story; a sequel to "Kraven's Last Hunt"

Phenomenal art from mostly Humberto Ramos, Ryan Ottley, and Gerardo Sandoval with some other artists too. Story from Nick Spencer is great and kept me hooked.

Not the usual spider-man story as it doesn't take place 'in the city' per se but almost entirely within central park. Still highly enjoyable and satisfying though.

Highly recommend

Eu vinha bastante empolgado lendo o Aranha do Nick Spencer mas neste volume ele perdeu a mão, Hunted é uma história longa, arrastada, muitos diálogos desnecessários, teria sido melhor se a história tivesse metade do tamanho.

5.0 out of 5 stars Kraven's Last Hunt Who???????????????????????
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on September 20, 2019
Amazing Spider-Man: Hunted (Vol. 4) collects issues 16-23 and 16HU, 18HU, 20HU.
Issues 16-23
This comic follows Nick Spencer's plot about Task-Master and Black-Ant hunting down criminals. Turns out that they have been hunting down each type of animal/creature, e.g Vulture, for one big hunt organised by Kraven The Hunter where rich people can control robots (similar to the Spider Slayers from Superior Spider-Man) and beat or kill the animals/people. Now its left up to Spider-Man to survive and save the day. I will not spoil anything else because it would ruin the story-line is. However, i really like this modern take of Kraven's last hunt.
16, 18 and 20HU
These issues are hunted tie ins. 16 focuses on a Black Cat and 20 focuses on vulture which i didn't find that interesting and to be honest i can't remember them. However 18HU is a touching story about The Gibbon about his interactions with Spider-Man that is extremely sad.
Anyway, i would recommend this if you are interested in the Nick Spencer run.
