Want to know just how great Spider-Man can be without needing to read a bunch of books in a particular order? Pick this up. This book collects stories from various writers and artists. I found both the art and writing to range from good to great. What I really liked most about the book is the one and done feel. These stories are short, and reminded me of reading Spider-Man at a time when events were not happening at Marvel every few months, and the stakes were not always the highest they could be. This book reminded me of the old Peter Parker: The Spectacular Spider-Man, and Web of Spider-Man Series from the 80's and early 90's. These are good stories that aren't bogged down in a lot of continuity, these work to introduce someone to Spider-Man, or just supplement what they already read.

A different take on Spiderman. This graphic novel is a series of short stories, to me that seem to happen between a main story such as fighting Doc Ock & defeating Karen.
When I first started to read it my initial thoughts were why did I waste my money on this, but as I read through it I simply could'nt put it down.
It is a must for any Spidey fan
