Angel: After the Fall Vol. 2 Kindle & comiXology
The second collection of IDW's smash-hit Angel: After the Fall series plotted by Joss Whedon and Brian Lynch, scripted by Lynch, and this time featuring an array of talented artists. First Night tells the story of what happened on the very night Los Angeles went straight to hell-- the incident that ended the Angel television series with such a shocking cliffhanger. Why did the team go their separate ways? And how did Connor rise up to become one of Hell's greatest champions? John Byrne, David Messina, Nick Runge, and many other artists contribute the multiple tales in this volume.

About the authors
Joseph Hill "Joss" Whedon (born June 23, 1964), is an American screenwriter, executive producer, director, occasional composer and actor, and founder of Mutant Enemy Productions. He is best known as the creator and showrunner of the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997–2003), Angel (1999–2004), and Firefly (2002), which have also seen popular comic book adaptations, published by Dark Horse Comics and IDW.
John Lindley Byrne (born July 6, 1950) is a British-born American comic-book writer and artist. Since the mid-1970s, Byrne has worked on many major American superheroes. Byrne's better-known work has been on Marvel Comics’ X-Men and Fantastic Four and the 1986 relaunch of DC Comics’ Superman franchise, the first issue of which featured comics' first variant cover. Coming into the comics profession exclusively as a penciler, Byrne began co-plotting the X-Men comics during his tenure on them, and launched his writing career in earnest with Fantastic Four (where he started inking his own pencils). During the 1990s he produced a number of creator-owned works, including Next Men and Danger Unlimited. He scripted the first issues of Mike Mignola's Hellboy series and produced a number of Star Trek comics for IDW Publishing. In 2015, Byrne and his longtime X-Men collaborator Chris Claremont were inducted into the comic book hall of fame.

Brian Michael Lynch (born June 21, 1973) is an American film and comic book writer. Lynch was the initial writer and co-creator with Joss Whedon of Angel: After the Fall for IDW Publishing, and is best known for writing the screenplays for the films Puss in Boots and Minions. He has also written an unproduced film adaptation of The Sims.

There was a problem filtering reviews right now. Please try again later.
Of course, they did and "Angel" eventually came of it. When I heard it was cancelled, I was very disappointed but then came the comics.
I will admit I've never been into comics before and prefer to buy this hardbound series than to buy individual books.
The Volume 1 got me excited again about our heroes and what had become of them. Volume 2 seemed a little bit of filler and did not speak much about Angel himself.
I would still recommend collecting it and reading it just to be on par with the next volume (which I hope is coming soon)
