This is a talking animal story that teaches values such as diversity and friendship in a way that is exciting but not too scary.
A new animal arrives at a village of different kinds of animals, is welcomed and introduced to their ways.
Trouble ensues, but teamwork and best effort saves the day.
Good for new readers and their caregivers. Also for anyone who loves talking animal characters.

My daughters love Animal Jam, so when I saw this book I had to download it for them. They were so excited to read the book. It is in a comic book style. They loved the story. It was a cute story. My kids are Animal Jam lovers. They loved this book and wanted me to give the story 5 stars. However, I had to rate it at 4 stars because the formatting was not very good to be able to read it on my kindle. For some reason, it was not even available for me to download to my computer, so I had to deal with it on my kindle. It was very hard to read, the print was very small. Since it was in comic book style, when I tried to enlarge the print, then it was harder to move the screen around to find all the words on the page.
I am glad this book was available for a free download. I probably would not read it again though because it was so hard to read on my kindle and it was not available for my computer. It would make a great printed comic book though.

So, as a parent, I'm a perpetual embarrassment. Tried to kiss my daughter on the cheek in front of the super cool AC repair dude yesterday and earned a stern talking to about exactly how publicly embarrassing that can be to an 11 year old when he was gone. A very stern talking to. So one of the ways I try and make up for my uncoolness is pay attention to what my kiddos love and find ways to help them express themselves that way, etc. For my daughter, she loves animal jam a lot, so I thought this would be a cool thing for her. The rating actually comes from her.

What she said was that she felt like it was too short, and she didn't really like that illustrations in it were so different from what you see in the game on-line. She says she actually prefers the longer fiction books without illustrations that are based on the animal jam world, like the recently released ones, because she says the lack of illustrations allows her to imagine the characters as they appear in the game because that is how she is used to seeing them. I asked her if she wanted me to get her more of the comics if they come out, and she said she wasn't sure, but seemed to be leaning more on the disinterested side. I think it was mainly the illustrational differences.

She also said that she would rate it 3 or 4 stars. I went with 3 because she felt uncertain about whether or not she'd want to read more, and she's usually willing to do more of 4 star products.

I love this book soooo much because its animal jam but can u devote a book to mira and zios, explaining them in some sort of prologue and then clover gets to help the alphas "save" zios? Because the phantoms dont want mira. Mira made them but they want zios for FREAKING MAKING HER CRY!!!!
