This is an excellent entry in the Avatar: The Last Airbender comic series.

I can visualize the scenes in my mind as if I was watching them on a tv screen. The writing is exactly like what you would expect out of the animated series, and the characters feel familiar and beloved. This comic is funny as well, as can be expected from Sokka.

The only thing that would be slightly unbelievable is how Katara had time to do her own thing and how Aang just casually let her fall off the sky bison while he was flying up, but it seems as if this comic takes place early after they encounter Toph.

Aang is still young and has a lot to learn.

This comic also shows how Katara becomes a more serious fighter, so that's cool.

This is a must-read.

Story was great, felt like something that could've fit in the show as filler episode perhaps. Would highly recommend if you are a fan of the show and comics.

I’m gonna give this 5 stars because the seller delivered in perfect condition and the illustrations were good. But the story is mediocre at best. I forced myself to read this one where the other avatar books I became absorbed in the story

It was amazing to see once again how strong team Avatar Is together and when they are apart. Love how the boys really get into some slight trouble when KATARA is not around. Wish the comics were longer. Lol, I always finish them so fast. Someone please write a novel on Aangs and Katara life starting with after she says yes to Aangs proposal to marriage 🙏❤️

Far better than I expected but I’d prefer more trilogies after the end of the show. I was initially disappointed when this was announced to take place during the span of the show and not after the comics. I was also disappointed that it was a single book. Turns out it was actually pretty good. The art was phenomenal - some of the best the graphic novels have had. Avatar works great in this format. I hope they keep it up - just please more post series trilogies. While this was good, it didn’t feel necessary.

Bought a used copy. Parcel shipped from a pretty far away place. When I received the book and opened the package, the book is literally new. Doesn’t look like anyone ever read it. It’s a small comic and an easy read, but for ATLA fans it’s a must to add to the collection
