Hawkeye is a comics hero
I would totally recommend these comics to anyone yes yes sir
This book basically rests on Gruenwald's four issue mini-series. Fans of Hawkeye should like it though he generally does better with an ensemble cast around him than on his own. Gruenwald is a much better writer than penciler in this series and the art simply doesn't stand out. Still, despite the often superfluous comics included at the end, it's a fun collection and the main story makes the book above average. Recommended to Marvel fans in general and Hawkeye fans in particular.

I definitely enjoyed the Hawkeye mini series the most as it gives me what I wanted to see, Clint being awesome with his bow and trick arrows taking on colourful villains and proving why he's a mainstay of the Avengers.
Second is the very first appearance of Hawkeye as a foe of Iron Man which is pretty good, showing how much of threat he can be with his bow and his first meeting with Black Widow.
The third is an Avengers story I've read before where Hawkeye takes centre stage against X-Men foe Deathbird. Though I imagine a lot of the stuff outside of that would require knowing about the team's status quo at the time or you'd be rather confused.
Next are surprisingly, Mockingbird focused stories. Her first appearance in her original Huntress persona. And finally a good old fashioned team up with Spider-Man against some corrupt SHIELD personal.
All good stories in their own rights that I would recommend, though I feel the Avengers you'd need more context for stuff outside of the Deathbird otherwise it'd be a bit confusing.
