Backtrack Vol. 2 Kindle & comiXology
Quellex is determined to make this his most entertaining race of all time, and the drivers are in for more than a few curveballs. With each leg, the stakes accelerate: from pirate brawls to colossal wars to being transported to the far-future--they’ll have to move fast before they’re ancient history. But with their numbers seriously dwindled, hidden agendas bubble to the surface. In order to live through this, Alyson will have to cast that aside and put the pedal to the metal if she wants to win this race and change her past.

Alyson gets a good wrap up, makes some good choices in the end. Cao’s story arc also came to a fulfilling conclusion. As one of the other characters mentioned, it made sense. The story picks up right where it left off in volume 1. Same fast pace, fast cuts from frame to frame puts you in the middle of the action. The final page felt very cinematic.
Alyson changed, matured and grew up over the course of volume 1 and 2. It was rewarding to see that payoff at the end and her evolution throughout the series. All of the various plot lines were wrapped up fairly neatly in the last several pages. Not sure if there will be a volume 3 or not, the end of volume 2 certainly leaves open the possibility.
I will be reading it if there is.
