Still carries the impact. The shock from decades ago. Terrific story. Terrific climax. The breaking of the bat. Historic edition.

Batman #497 was an excellent comic book with a fine little story introducing Bane. Reading this comic book was great and inspired me to purchase The Vengeance of Bane. I am also looking forward to purchase The Vengeance of Bane II to add to my comic book collection.

The comic is practically brand new and it was a great price. Came very quickly as well. In terms of the comic itself, it is a classic and inspiration for the Dark Knight Rising film.
