Completion volume 2 continues the tale of our 3 heroines Aoi, Taeko and Ibara. It was a pretty heavy volume overall as the 3 girls learn that they can't save everyone from the disaster zone. The moments with Ibara was particularly hard hitting, you have to admire her resilience in spit of it all.
The background artwork continues to be beautiful, often even having a Ghibli quality about it. Coppelion continues to be a very unique series, that shows life finds a way in spit of the odds. Another nice touch is that the volume has started to explore why the disaster happened and how people continue to live there.
