Best ever in comics I read. It would be nice if the old books could be turn into comics.
Two thumbs up

Interesting New saga....The only thing I am concerned is about the cronology....Becuase They are talking about P3....So is a New saga continuing the last season or a reinvention of the canonical Charmed Ones

I used to watch Charmed since I was a child, so when I saw that there was a graphic novel for the tv show, I had to pick it up.
The storyline seems to be what a typical episode features, which included the right doses of danger, sassiness, and the power of 3. So, I was happy with that aspect.
I didn't like the illustrations at all. I had a difficult time distinguishing who is who through out the entire comic. This was a huge turn off for me.
Now, I did say that the story had the correct dose of sassiness, but the kind of sassiness that belonged to each individual of the charmed ones was mixed up.
I received an eARC in exchange with an honest review.

This comic series takes place between seasons 4 and season 5. It is sort of like lost episodes which is pretty good and can be a great addition. It could explain why the Charmed Ones in the show seem a little different in season 5 compared to season 4. It even brings up the fact that Phoebe will get a billboard for her "Ask Phoebe" column which we see in season 5 of the show. Though there are some inconsistently things in the story, such as Paige has orange hair and has a charge, Cole isn't around, and Piper already shows her pregnancy. Paige doesn't have a charge until Sam I am.
.
Paige is now trying to be a super-witch like Prue as mentioned in Season 5 of the show. Piper, of course, doesn't like her new cocky attitude while Phoebe tolerates Paige as becoming more of a witch. Though this disagreement doesn't stop the sisterly dynamic between the three which you can feel and notice.Piper tries to handle business with P3 like the show which I love because we didn't see P3 in Zenescope's Charmed comics. There were more great moments, especially when Leo gave Piper advice and orbed out in mid-conversation like the show. Phoebe deals with Bay Mirror and new celebrity status which is also connected to the start of season 5 in the show.
Meanwhile, a new demon tries to take out the Charmed Ones. This issue gives surprises where you would think one demon is in charge but it is another.
This season is great so far and I love how it really takes on the originality of Charmed and how their lives were before season 5 where they don't have such as mermaids and Gods. If someone didn't see the show and read this, they would pretty much get a gist of the characters, dynamics, and series.
I definitely give this issue 5 stars because of how exciting it is and brings back the core of the show which was sisters who happen to be witches.
If you want great sisterly dynamics, interesting plot, twist and turns of characters' motives, amazing artwork, echoes of the first 4 seasons, and a new and sneaky demon, pick up this issue and dive into it!
