DC Meets Looney Tunes (DC Meets Looney Tunes (2017-2018)) Kindle & comiXology
When Elmer Fudd sets his sights on Bruce Wayne, it’s a “wabbit hunt” you’d never imagine! Prospector Yosemite Sam strikes it rich, but can circus performer Foghorn Leghorn and bounty hunter Jonah Hex keep him alive long enough to enjoy it?
Plus, Wonder Woman enlists the help of the Tasmanian Devil to save the Amazons; Lobo gets caught in the war between a mutated Road Runner and a wily super-genius of a coyote; and the last survivors of Mars fight over the fate of planet Earth! Finally, when the Legion of Super-Heroes needs help, a wrong turn at Albuquerque means the future’s survival depends on…“Super” Bugs Bunny!
Worlds collide, courtesy of some of comics’ greatest talents, among them Tom King, Lee Weeks, Jimmy Palmiotti, Mark Texeira, Tony Bedard, Bill Morrison, Kelley Jones, Steve Orlando, Sam Humphries and more!

Everyone involved is a major character, but it's interesting at how many aren't in there. There's no Flash or Aqua Man or Daffy Duck. Meanwhile we only get brief cameos of Green Lantern, Sylvester, Tweety and Porky. But the characters they did choose are brilliant and work even better off of each other than you'd think. I mean, Marvin the Martian and Martian Manhunter? That's brilliant! Yosemete Sam and Elmer Fudd really shine in here as well. There really isn't anyone I would take out to shoehorn in a more popular character. Below are the 6 stories and the creative teams found in the graphic novel:
Bugs Bunny meets the Legion of Super Heroes by Sam Humphries and Tom Grummett
Marvin the Marion and the Martian Manhunter by Steve Orlando, Frank, Barbiere and Aaron Lopresti
Tazmanian Devil and Wonder Woman by Tony Bedard and Barry Kitson
Wile E Coyote and Road Runner and Lobo by Bill Morrison and Kelly Jones
Yosemete Sam and Foghorn Leghorn and Jonah Hex by Jimmy Palmiotti and Mark Texeria
Elmer Fudd and Batman by Tom King and Lee Weeks
Each issue has a 'main story' done in a hyper realistic style (with the exception of Bugs and the Legion) running about 30 pages, and then each story is then followed by an 8 page story involving the same characters in a Looney Toon art style. Usually this is a follow up to the main story, except for the Legion and Bugs story which is basically just a retelling of the same story, for some reason.
The stories are arranged in the order I listed, and I'd say that's about the order of quality from least to best as well. So as you read through it, each story is a little better than the one you just read. Really all 6 stories are pretty good, but Batman and Elmer Fudd is just epic. Just look at this dialogue from the first page, it features Elmer Fudd in a hard boiled crime drama narrating the story:
"Sometimes the wain comes down so hard you forget you've ever been dwy"
"Going into Powky's that day, I twy my best to wemeber. I weawy do. Things weren't always this way. They won't always be this way."
"My name is Elmer Fudd. I'm hunting Wabbits."
"Shhhhhhhhh."
That's just awesome. I mean at this point, why are you still reading this? Go buy it now!
Shipping speed and everything was wonderful.
I didn't see anything else wrong with it other than the back corner being creased (pictures included).
