I can't describe it any better. But of course I'm biased, because I've always loved Dr. Strange since Roger Stern and Marshall Rogers were doing the book in the early 80's...

The story is really dark but also really good. The entities that take place are lit. I enjoyed this story completely!

Mark Waid, being as smart as he is, created a story here that comes with a giant loophole which basically allows him to go as over the top as he wants. So you will see earth-shattering, no: universe- shattering events in these issues that don't amount to much in the end. Speaking of the end, it comes with some very distinctive One More Day vibes so be prepared for that. Apart from this, an enjoyable read.

This Was The Best Dr. Strange Story I have ever Read Fantastic Story Herald of Galactus and Story Showing The Real Power of Galactus. Story with Clea was Really Cool and a lot of Cosmic Beings and Outer Realms High Level Beings in This.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Great Stuff.

I thought this was an epic rollercoaster of a story non stop action a great read.
I'd of liked Jesus Saiz to have been the artist his covers and previous art on Doctor strange speak for themselves but Scott Koblish's style definitely worked because this was chaos and Cosmic and dimensional collisions at it's best Galactus hungers ... nuff said.
Buy this while you can I couldn't put it down.

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice idea but didn't work for me
Reviewed in Germany on November 15, 2019
I kind of liked the idea of mixing of the realms of science and magic. It was also a very neat twist that Strange becomes the herald of the magically infected Galactus. But the story just became to big at the end. The destruction and recreation of the universe, the envolvement of Eternity and the Living Tribunal just didn't felt significant. Maybe the story was to big to be told on so few pages. Anyway, I just couldn't conect with it. Also the art wasn't really my taste, the drawings are very straight and too colorful.

4.0 out of 5 stars Better than expected but still too simple
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on April 22, 2020
I was just expecting another mashup Galactus story that involved Dr. Strange.

The concept was very good, the story itself coherent and pretty good too, when having completed reading it there was a sense that more could have been done and it should have been better than it was i.e. the story was too simple and should have been more intricate and complex, especially with all the characters available.

It was great to have Clea back, without giving anything away, Umar is also there and there was no room given to explore the daughter mother relationship, I re-read to check I got this correct, there really is nothing that could be considered a subplot between them. Characters missing that should have been in this story were Master Order and Lord Choas and of course, the In-Betweener.

Thus you get an idea of what could have been and did not happen. Worth the read but a missed opportunity by Marvel to produce a far more complex and interesting story than they did.
