This volume completes the deluxe reprinting of the central title in the Fables universe. The series reprints the 150 issues of Fables as well as the essential stand-alone tales The Last Castle, 1001 Nights of Snowfall and Werewolves of the Heartland. This series has rewarded multiple re-readings for me and the deluxe editions look gorgeous on the bookshelf. I hope that we may see similar treatment for the Peter and Max novel one day to complete this highly-recommended series.
If you have not read Fables yet, these editions are the perfect way to do so. We had Watchmen in the eighties, Sandman in the nineties, but in my opinion Fables surpassed these esteemed predecessors.
