Green Arrow and Black Canary are searching for Diggle. They uncover another connection to the Ninth Circle and even spoiler! I like the art, there are some great action panels, and I really love seeing Ollie and Canary kicking ass together.

Comic Book Review (8/10) "Great"
Green Arrow #9 "Islands of Scars Part Two: Tracks"
Story: Benjamin Percy
Art/Color: Stephen Byrne
Plot: Oliver "Ollie" Queen aka Green Arrow and Dinah Lance aka Black Canary figure out that a woman named Ana is using the island as a manufacturing station for outgoing heroin. In fact, Ana has been using the Trans-Pacific Railway that Queen Industries built to transport the drugs to Seattle! Can Ollie and Canary foil the plans of Ata and the remaining Ninth Circle and their drug operations?
The weirdest part of this issue is the estranged marriage between Ata and Ana. I wonder if Percy was trying to contrast a good relationship (Ollie/Dinah) and a bad relationship (Ata/Ana), but Ata/Ana's relationship felt unnecessary. Seeing Ana as a woman who makes a deal with the Ninth Circle to manufacture drugs for the Inferno, and Ata being a jealous husband who just wants his wife back home seemed like a story that didn't need to be included in this adventure, but it becomes a story point in this issue.
I loved the interaction between Ollie and Dinah, and seeing Dinah constantly tease Ollie shows her independent spirit, and Ollie's willingness to listen to her shows his love for her. Their love feels real and it's a credit to Percy's strong dialogue as well as Byrne's poignant artwork. I thought his artwork in issues #6/7 was amazing and I am glad that it's also amazing here. His style reminds me of Batman the Animated Series and has a more animation feel so it feels playful and adventurous and felt perfect for this adventurous issue.

I really still can't get over how quickly Benjamin Percy put dinah and ollie back together with really no build up and its bugging me, they just met...and already they are joking around about how they're like a married couple and how dinah would try to kill him..and also really dont like the fact that Percy added a character from that awful show that I'm trying to forget exists. This series has been a hit or miss with me and this issue was a miss, so much you could have done with dinah and ollie being on the island and instead went in a very random story about a wife and a husband who live on the island, the wife controls the island, she's evil, not very evil though, drug trade, husband wants control of the island and dinah and ollie help him, husband and wife battle, then the husband and wife are fine with each other again and tell dinah and ollie to leave, dinah and ollie go back home, that's it. This island thing only lasted 2 issues and dinah just happens be on it as well, honestly this series is starting to lose my intrest.
