Gwen Poole is everyone's favorite character from the "real" world! And her super-power is Official Handbook-level knowledge of top-secret comic-book facts! Plus: Gwenpool is no stranger to trouble, but she'll brand herself a menace when she blurts out a certain somebody's secret identity! Actually really good and funny as well as simple but engaging plot driven. If you like Deadpool humor but want to cut back a little on the gore so you can offer this to your kids to read, then this is the book for you. I enjoy them and so does my son and daughter.

The continuing saga of Gwenpool is trending toward telling a story. I really liked where this one went, and the development of Gwen as a solipsistic character was great. This issue featured a page that I saw posted on Twitter, which was the entire reason I started reading in the first place. As usual, there basically is no 4th wall. I love it, and especially how Gwen copes with the situation.
Read this if volumes 1-3 were your cuppa. More of the same, it's getting better, too!

**Spoiler Warning!**
I was expecting fun murder action romp and instead I'm questioning how much free will I actually have. Gwen Poole addresses that she feels the need to be a Hero and do the Right Thing but the writers are railroading her to a path to becoming a supervillain. They also address that fighting against the will of the writers is futile, for obvious reasons. But, whatever Gwen Poole chooses is ultimately irrelevant, because she is still a comic book character. If she decides she still wants to rebel against the writers to be a hero, or sit back and enjoy the ride, it still not her choice. Even if Gwen does succeed against the writers and become the Hero she wants to be, it won't be a real success. It’s all been planned out for her by the writers. She only wants to be a Hero because this is a comic book!

And that leaves me wondering how much of my own life is being controlled by “unseen forces” (sexuality, gender, race, mental illness, religion, socioeconomic status) Would I have been the same person if I had born in another country? Would I have loved the same people? Have any of my decisions actually been my own?

Best vol yet. There are many critical moments in this volume that cannot be missed, and man oh man if you've liked the plot so far be ready for a fun, surprising, and action packed volume! (won't give any spoilers)

On top of that, the art is so well done and I'm very happy that the issues collected in this vol (16-20) are all done by one artist, Gurihiru. And Gurihiru does an amazing job, the art style and how Gwenpool looks just fits so well together that when I imagine Gwenpool, I imagine Gwenpool in Gurihiru's art style.

My favorite issue so far, keep them coming like this!

p.s. Combined what you have in this vol with some of the other stuff in past volumes and you got yourself a good plot for a movie. Just saying ;)

Pretty good. Not as funny as the first 3 volumes but good nonetheless.

This is by far my favorite one so far, I liked the back story and villain at the end, and how she changed how the story would go from there.

Faster than expected, I must say the German covers seem more durable, but I'm happy with it overall, great comic.
