Read this if volumes 1-3 were your cuppa. More of the same, it's getting better, too!
I was expecting fun murder action romp and instead I'm questioning how much free will I actually have. Gwen Poole addresses that she feels the need to be a Hero and do the Right Thing but the writers are railroading her to a path to becoming a supervillain. They also address that fighting against the will of the writers is futile, for obvious reasons. But, whatever Gwen Poole chooses is ultimately irrelevant, because she is still a comic book character. If she decides she still wants to rebel against the writers to be a hero, or sit back and enjoy the ride, it still not her choice. Even if Gwen does succeed against the writers and become the Hero she wants to be, it won't be a real success. It’s all been planned out for her by the writers. She only wants to be a Hero because this is a comic book!
And that leaves me wondering how much of my own life is being controlled by “unseen forces” (sexuality, gender, race, mental illness, religion, socioeconomic status) Would I have been the same person if I had born in another country? Would I have loved the same people? Have any of my decisions actually been my own?
On top of that, the art is so well done and I'm very happy that the issues collected in this vol (16-20) are all done by one artist, Gurihiru. And Gurihiru does an amazing job, the art style and how Gwenpool looks just fits so well together that when I imagine Gwenpool, I imagine Gwenpool in Gurihiru's art style.
My favorite issue so far, keep them coming like this!
p.s. Combined what you have in this vol with some of the other stuff in past volumes and you got yourself a good plot for a movie. Just saying ;)

The design and the storyline are fantastic.
I will definitely continue to read and hope that the story continues to grow.
