Hulk in Hell is where I personally feel the series has been at its highest point thus far, and that’s saying something when every volume in this series has been top tier stuff. It picks up right where the last volume left off in the aftermath of The Immortal Hulks fight with Crusher Creel. All of the protagonists of the series have been pulled into hell along with Hulk and Creel, and it leads to a major insight and the first true reveal of The One Below All.

Everything about it is fantastic, Joe Bennett’s art is at a high point, the Demons and the One Below All are fantastically drawn. And it even brings a favorite character in Rick Jones back to the series. Creel takes a shocking character turn that has made him more compelling. And Hulk shows off his true power. There’s a lot to love about this volume. It is maybe tied for the best single volume of any story I’ve ever read.

Fantastic read. I haven’t kept up with the Marvel stories for awhile But nevertheless this story arc was very intriguing and drew me in. I’d heard about this from a friend and glad I took the leap (No Pun Intended) LOL

I enjoyed the story, particularly its take on modern feminism and white male privilege. It was poignant, brief, and not too in-your-face. You'd never see that in the comics of my youth, and I found it well-written.

Also, I recommend not ordering this book directly from Amazon, ordering it from a third party Amazon seller instead. Mine arrived damaged because of sloppy packing by Amazon.

This book came fast and was in great condition. Items like soft covers can get beat up during transit. I've ordered vol 1-4 and all were perfect. As far as the content; the horror storyline is one of my favorite Hulk so far. Artwork and writing are fantastic. What could be more menacing than an unkillable, intelligent Hulk with a gamma powered group of friends.

That is all. Excelsior! Excelsior!
This take on the Hulk will truly be immortal in the grand history of the character. I've never been a big fan of the Hulk, only his writers. But This. Is. Awesome.

A great and captivating take on the Hulk. Perhaps only second to Peter David.

Another great round of Hulk stories !! Keep up the great stuff !! As great as the Hulk I remember from yesteryear.

The previous two graphic novels set this up to be a humdinger of a story, but the writer couldn't bring it to fruition. Tried too hard to explain his theory of who Hulk is through religious imagery, psuedo philosophy, and broken up story line. Then the hell sequence, which built for too long, was suddenly over, quite rushed, and suddenly we were on to Betty. Then Rick. I have hope that he's going somewhere, but this story was a disappointment. I'm willing to bet you could skip over it and pick up everything you need to know from the next one. If the writer focuses on Hulk and storyline, without derailing everything to go off on his own philosophical and political worldview, the story will be great. Unfortunately, this one was a disappointment.
