Soo I'm 28 and I remember this series in highschool, it's what got me into romance genre. I read this series multiple time, then I moved away and I forgot the name of it but it was always in the back of my head, until recently i found it again and i cant wait to reread it again, they are literally the cutest freaking couple I'm obessed with Rei. So please read this series it's chefs kisses

Wow! Talk about a flashback!

This was the first *intentional* manga series I ever picked up because of my best friend in high school. While I found I forgot almost everything once I started reading, a lot of the feelings I had then are still the same now.

Completely enrapturing.

Though I can say adult me does not miss the days of high school drama and this volume only backed that thought. LOL!

However, it was exciting to reread this volume almost as if I started it the first time. I found I really liked our main characters and really enjoyed seeing their romance bloom.

One thing that surprised me were the motorcycle parts because I had completely forgotten about it. I would say the beginning was almost triggering because my Dad died in a motorcycle accident by racing (not professional racing though) and so I did give this volume a four stars because I do feel slightly apprehensive of those parts. Truly hoping Rei's life will never be on the line at any given point in this series because I might have to drop the series if it's too overwhelming.

My heart really went out to Kira in how she was treated at certain points. She is such a strong woman and was DEEPLY relieved nothing happened to her despite a few characters surrounding her. (Also echoing what some characters said of wanting her to speak up.)

Overall, this was a pretty good volume! A little more "edgier" than what I typically read, but I'm looking forward to the next volume!

I love this story an am glad it's on Kindle. Rei is a troubled youth who meets a shy and timid classmate Kira who happens to be an artist on his way the hospital. Bad boy meets sensitive artist story that has everything. Motorcycles, bullies, mental illness issues, and some terrible parents. There's A lot to unpack in this highly recommended non stop thrill ride into romance and teenager issues that will make you glad you're out of that phase if you're older.

Great start off to a legendary series. This is a well known series and I want to see what the hype is about. I'm excited to see what happens in the next volume(s).

Soft romantic tension is perfect for teen summer romance. It’s a sweet love story. Slightly edgy, but not too controversial. The art is beautifully done. The references to motorcycles and racing is seems rl accurate. I’m excited for the next volume. I would recommend for anyone that enjoys romance and a slow build of sexual tension.
