This book is excellent. It’s great to have a quality, affordable collection of JSC’s outstanding covers for Marvel. In addition to nice reproductions if finished covers, the book includes some concept sketches, raw pencil versions of a few covers and a bit of commentary here and there from Mr. Campbell himself. I can’t think of a single negative thing to say about this book, highly recommended.
After seeing the quality of this book I am very excited about the Marvel Monograph series of art books. They’ve got some amazing artists lined up for books in this series and I can’t wait for more!!
