How customer reviews and ratings work
Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.

Good book

I have to say that I didn't expect this issue to be nearly as interesting as it was. In fact, I wasn't planning on even buying this series at all, but I decided to give this series a try anyway. Loving the first series how could I not. And isn't the horror genre full of needless sequels you love for their cheesy value anyway?
This book was extremely enjoyable. It's something quite different from the original mini-series, which was more shocks than just strong story, whereas this issue has a much stronger basis than the first one.
The Marvel Zombies have devoured almost everything they can find after forty years, before they decide to return to Earth, to what they were doing before they became Zombies in the first place. Back on Earth, society slowly moves forward, as a discovery is made, a coup is planned, and something unplanned occurs...
The writing by Kirkman is spot-on, and the storyline also ensures that it doesn't invalidate any of the other appearances the ever-popular Marvel Zombies have made since their first mini-series. The story makes a lot of sense, and there's crackling wit in his script as well.
The art by Phillips is very impressive, very expressive, and managing to capture the creepy aspects without losing a sense of fun which is in the zombie representation of the heroes. He captures a great atmosphere and mood in his pencils.
This was a great read, lots of fun, and I'm looking forward to what comes next, when the Marvel Zombies finally return home to what's sprung up in the wake of their departure from Earth.
