Two issues in a row now that are a miss. The story is growing muddled with its multitude of themes - machines, alien invasion, environmentalism, oppression - none developed compellingly enough. There is also a loss of focus on the main characters, with new characters brought in that I'm having trouble remembering or identifying with.
Ienco plays with time, going back and forth, and showing dialogue between multiple characters while showing images of things happening simultaneously. Unfortunately this does not work. It feels as if Ienco wants to put too many ideas into one comic, whereas a focus on just one or two ideas might make for a more compelling read. This is sad because the comic seemed so promising in its first two issues.
