Sfé is a queer Canadian comic artist living divided between the east coast (Halifax) and west coast (Vancouver) of Canada.

Sfé writes, draws, scripts and designs characters, comics, and stories for both personal and collaborative purposes. Some of Sfé's projects include Eth's Skin (a genderqueer webcomic about mermaids, selkies and sea monsters living on the west coast of British Columbia), and The Beyond Anthology (a queer sci-fi/fantasy comic anthology), as well as other comics like Kyle & Atticus, and Seven Stories From The Sea.

Sfé's work focuses on gender, queerness, genderqueerness, and a strong sense of all things Canadian. Sfé is a hockey fan, a monster enthusiast, and plays a mean game of Tetris.

Hiya! My name is Sarah Graley and I'm a cartoonist from the UK! I write and draw comics like OUR SUPER ADVENTURE, KIM REAPER, GLITCH and MINECRAFT!

My newest book is called DONUT THE DESTROYER! I made it with my partner Stef and it came out through Scholastic Graphix this year! It's all about a wannabe superhero who comes from a family full of famous villains!

Another recent book that I made is GLITCH! It's all about a girl called Izzy who can enter the world of her new video game! It's out through Scholastic Graphix now and it was the WINNER of MOST EPIC ADVENTURE at the 2020 Kids' Comic Awards!

I'm also the artist on the very first official Minecraft graphic novel - MINECRAFT: VOLUME ONE! It's out now through Dark Horse Comics! There's also a sequel, MINECRAFT: VOLUME TWO, which is out now!

Other titles that I've worked on include KIM REAPER: GRIM BEGINNINGS/VAMPIRE ISLAND (Oni Press), and the mini-series RICK AND MORTY: LIL' POOPY SUPERSTAR (Oni Press/Titan Comics)

In 2015 and 2018 I ran successful Kickstarter campaigns to get collections of my webcomic OUR SUPER ADVENTURE printed. They both went on to become Top 10 Most Funded and Most Backed UK Comics Kickstarters! Oni Press are now publishing the Our Super Adventure series, starting with book 1 - OUR SUPER ADVENTURE: PRESS START TO BEGIN - in March 2019!

I was nominated for Emerging Talent at the 2015 British Comic Awards for my self-published comics OUR SUPER ADVENTURE, PIZZA WITCH and RENTQUEST, and my Rick and Morty miniseries LIL' POOPY SUPERSTAR was nominated for two Diamond Gem Awards in 2016!

I read this together with my student, whose favorite character is Grace! She knows the most about Minecraft. His favorite part was going into the bastion remnant and facing the piglins.

As a teacher, I highly recommend this series of graphic novels. We had a blast reading these together. The characters are wonderful. The stories are fun and exciting and also teach a lesson about friendship. We’re sad that this is the last story with these amazing characters.

My 6 year old son and I play Minecraft together and hes really been into reading books at school lately. I thought it would be a fun way to bridge reading and his play time interests together and these three books have been so much fun for us. It was really great to add these to our nightly bedtime routine instead of more screentime.

I knew he was into it when he cuddled up into my chest while we read this together and talked about the experiences of the characters in the book. It's fun to ask each other questions about what we would do or make jokes about the situations.

These books have some good learning points for social interaction too, like dealing with social conflict between friends, communicating whats going on internally during conflicts and being honest and communicative about your barriers. I think it also showcases what healthy social relationships should look like to kids. As some of the characters make mistakes and upset each other, I think it's been handy for him to see how to work passed being angry in the medium of a favorite video game.

We can't wait for new adventures for the gang.
