love the BOOM! POTA take.

The varied (non connected) story lines in this book are right out of an Ape world version of the twilight zone. I loved reading plot lines that showed such new perspectives of (what I thought were) dead end tales. You get to see "what if's" from the 1960's, 2000's and Book franchises fleshed out. I think there were three authors and three illustrators. The art work was great! All in all it reminded me of the HEAVY METAL magazines I loved devoured as a kid in the 1980's.

Cover alone is awesome! Great addition to my POTA collection!

2 1/2 stars. A collection of "stories". Most are very short, and don't really go anywhere. There have been some very good comics/graphic novels in the Planet of the Apes series released over the last few years. Unfortunately this isn't one of them. For completists only.
