I definitely enjoyed the first two issues of this series but I wasn't sure if I would be reading it regularly. I have gravitated back for this issue though with decidedly mixed results. The best thing about it is how Ewing uses it to give the spotlight to Manifold/Eden Fesi. The former Avenger was awesome in Jonathan Hickman's Avengers series and this more or less recaptures that character portrayal. It is not without drawbacks as for whatever reason the dialogue and story flow don't work quite as well this comic plus the cliffhanger of the previous one is as of yet unresolved. I detect big plans on Ewing's part though, especially regarding the now Reign of X era, based on some small revelations. The art still works well, with Valerio Schiti being joined by three additional artists who I won't name here for my own convenience. I think I'll try and stick with this series since I have been trying to keep up with more of the current X-Men line.
