Wow I almost don't wanna read anymore. I guess I have 1 left or 2 but either way, this feels like the end. But wow what great writing and art and just everything, Watchmen has been and I thought always would be hands down my favorite always but Sandman has been up to the test so far and might be tied with that for me.

Gaiman is a masterful storyteller and this is his greatest graphic novel. The Sandman is probably the great comic book ever and this is the best of his stories. It has everything a great novel needs and is written and drawn masterfully. My only fear is stab show adaptations will water down his masterful works in the name of progress. Art should be immune from political correctness.

This is the longest of the Sandman books and the most amazing, but to be honest I have felt that way about all of them.
In this one I found myself taking the side of different characters in different places and constantly changing my allegiance to different characters. I love these characters so much and by the end, I was crying my eyes for different reasons.
I felt joy for some characters and sorrow for others. I try not to give away to much in reviews unless I mark it as spoilers because I love the journey of a story above all else. So I will just say, Read this entire series, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

I do not write reviews but I feel like my voice needs to be heard on this on. The Sandman series is one of genius! The story telling and artwork is unmatched, with a certain dark beauty that had not been done before. If you haven’t read this series, please pick it up. Neil Gaiman is a fantastic story teller who puts you in the world. So many thumbs up!!

This book really by far the heaviest of the volumes. I want to hate it but I cant. I know it just went full circle. Truly a masterpiece in not just graphic novels but literature as a whole.

This is definitely the best volume so far. Up to this point, the stories in each volume felt independent and only loosely related. This volume puts everything into perspective, like a well thought out game of Tetris. And this is where I shut up, so as not to spoil anything, because it would be a shame.

I read these first back in the 90s as a kid. Loved them. World building at its finest. Read it!

Something I re-read every couple of years. The quality of the art can vary, but the storytelling is excellent.

All things must end. It is something that Morpheus has come to realise since the death of his son. But, as one of the Endless, Morpheus is relied upon by his creations to keep the Dreaming from collapsing into itself.

Gaiman's stunning sequence is foreboding, doom laden and melancholic. However it is also triumphant and beautiful with the most wonderful focus on Morpheus' relationship with his sisters.
