I enjoy reading this book. Not as great as  Avengers: The Kree/Skrull War  but is great. The best for me is that Stark wasn't a Skrull. That would be a lame way to go. If you solve all the problems with these caracters in one mini series then there is no growth and nothing to read in the future. Captain America has to earn his place, Iron Man has to pay for his mistakes. Is a good story. Just read it whitout pondering in how much you can you sell those comics in the future.

After watching the abysmal Disney+ show, it left me wanting more skrulls but skrulls with substance and interest. I decided to go back to the roots of the project and read the original Secret Invasion. While not perfect, the story makes you second guess every character and creates a constant sense of paranoia. A plethora of characters, with new and retro designs, and a universe spanning story, this is the optimal way to experience the skrull invasion. The only downside is a weak ending and so many characters that no one truly gets the time to make an impact. If you can get over those scruples this is a great read.

It was good, liked the surprises and guessing who was a Skrull was fun. Didn't get all of them right. Drawing was a bit irregular

Secret Invasion is a story really without a plot. Alot of this is just big fights between the heroes and their Skrull impersonators. Not alot really happens in terms of plot progression for at least the first half, everyone was just killing time at the savage land until Richards and Brand show up. From there the books just a prolonged fistfight against the Skrull in central park i think, and the fight isnt really even that memorable frankly. There wasn't any big memorable moments, which made this whole thing kind of a slog to get through.
The art is fine, again nothing to write home about. It does get kind of funny how many ass shots there are in this book, everyone from Jessica Drew to Reed Richards get a moment to show off their assets. Ohh, and the women all have their chests sticking out for reasons. The best thing about this event is the Dark Avengers title that spins out of it. Frankly, the Dark Reign that proceeds this story is far superior in really every way. I think this was supposed to be a big moment of the heroes coming together to save the world, but all that failed for me due to no one really having a personality.

Secret Invasion is a game changing comic featuring Marvel's best villain The Skrulls in a high stake fight for the entire marvel universe from being change into a skrull. Now, in this comic no superhero can trust each other because each one of them could be a skrull. NOW PLEASE SPOILER DON'T READ THE NEXT THREAD THAT OR YOU WILL BE SPOILED!

The Main target is the Skrull Queen Veranke who is actually disguised as spider woman (shape shifted). Then at the last the best moment had arrived where all avengers assemble for one last spectacular battle to beat the skrull queen and the entire skrull race. Nick Fury say to Thor that "Well my God has A Hammer" and Thor replied and says "Avengers Assemble!" One of the most finest moment i have read in this comic. Also Hawkeye Change into his alter ego Ronin. At the last Thor says he is still not friend with Stark in the aftermath of the battle(Because For Civil War It HAS HAPPENED!)Captain America then vanishes in the crowd after seeing tony and Norman Osborne had a meeting with villains for what is their next plan. Also another spoiler Jessica Jones and Luke Cage's baby is kidnapped by Dum Dum Dugan who is now become a skrull. Unbelievable comic, never before have i witnessed such a epic, astonishing, spectacular, game changing, plot twist, awesome moment, brutual, masterpiece everything Secret Invasion has to offer. Brian Michael Bendis at it's best to make the story such spectacular.Marvel at that time was freaking great. But Today see Marvel Comics you will cry seriously, because Marvel Comics is under Disney right now and Disney wont allow well how should i describe it a masterpiece like this comic will never made. I have no choice but to give Marvel's Secret Invasion A 5/5 (MASTERPIECE)

Next Comic for this continuity is DARK REIGN!

3.0 out of 5 stars One of Marvel's Epic storyarcs, not too shabby
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on March 17, 2017
Loved the story but was less keen on the artwork. Epic scale battles featuring a cast of hundreds all left me a bit confused at times. Partly to blame is my lack of comic book reading over the last 10 years. Once an avid Marvel fan I have had to seriously curtail the books I can read - as a result I didn't know many of the characters.

That aside I realise it must be difficult to convey epic and give cameo appearances to everyone's favourite characters. At times a cast of slightly less players may have helped the story flow, but I loved the idea and Bendis is something of a story telling genius so there were many positives too.
