How customer reviews and ratings work
Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.

No Misty stories are included. The Planet Terry stories you get are great though. Book looks nice. Good reproduction with coloring that seems faithful to the original.

This little sci-fi hero is no zero

This book is heartily recommended to all Casper and Richie Rich fans out there hungry for more of the same.
When Marvel started their Star Comics brand for younger readers they raided Harvey Comics for its best writers and artists and set them loose to create similar stuff for them (perhaps a bit too similar in some cases... despite all the castles and crowns Royal Roy was basically Richie Rich with long pants and a better haircut, and Harvey's lawyers quickly shut the title down).
I always considered Planet Terry the best of the bunch, full of fun and imagination and that mixture of silly and serious that the writers and artists at Harvey excelled at.
The premise is strong (a brave little boy searches the vast reaches of space trying to find his missing parents) and the characters enjoyable (aside from the title hero himself, there are his companions Robota, a redheaded robot girl that Terry rescued from a junk heap who appointed herself his highly protective "big sister" in gratitude, and the grumpy but goodhearted Omnus, a large scaly green alien who looks like a humanoid artichoke and acts like the Thing in the early issues of "Fantastic Four").
Any problems with the book readers may have are not the fault of the contents but the expectations they may have had from Amazon's listing for the product.
First of all, it is not 424 pages but actually less than 300.
Secondly, the reason for this is that after advertising the book Marvel decided to drop a major part of the content before publication.
Oh, all the Planet Terry stories are here, so no worries about that.
But the promised Misty stories about the teenage niece of minor Marvel mainstay Millie the Model trying to become a success in show business and the fashion industry are not included, which is probably for the best as they would appeal to a different, perhaps slightly older female audience than the more cartoonish Terry stories and definitely deserve a separate book of their own.
Keeping those two things in mind, though, I still think the book is still well worth picking up, so take off with Terry and his pals for a journey through space you will enjoy the heck out of.
