Great group of stories that will entertain you. No imagination needed. Beautiful artwork and excellent story telling combine in this work of art.

None of these stories are particularly noteworthy, but they’re unique in the Star Wars universe, and all show Vader in a different light, well, different shades of black. Each chapter is it’s own fun little story but by no means a “must read.”

This is technically a Disney-approved "new canon" story. Fortunately, it defied Disney's dictate of sub-par mediocrity. An anthology of macabre Darth Vader stories told from the perspective of minor characters who've encountered him in ways which portray him in a positive light—heroic, a champion, a man who stands above the rest. Too bad for them they learn the hard way why he is feared above all others. Lord Vader never disappoints.

I liked every issue but I personally think the first 3 issues were the best because it's cool to see how a kid could see Darth Vader as a hero and cool to see how someone could fall in love with him it was also cool to see how scared someone that works for the empire could be of Darth Vader but the others to me didn't really fit what the miniseries was doing

Like the Dark Horse Vader storylines, Dark Visions is true to the fact Vader is a bad man. There is no romancing or dancing around it, Vader is a destructive personality.

One thing I did like was that Vader's destructive actions actually paint him as a hero because he slew a beast called the Ender. Goes to show you must live in a very bad level of the galaxy to see Vader as a knight errant.

Also this story does show why many in the Imperial Officer corps despise Lord Vader.

Good read. Hope to see more.

3.0 out of 5 stars Einige Kurzgeschichten - Reicht nicht an die Vorgänger herran
