    Jim Zub is a writer, artist and art instructor based in Toronto, Canada. Over the past twenty years he’s worked for a diverse array of publishing, movie and video game clients including Marvel, DC Comics, Disney, Capcom, Hasbro, Cartoon Network, and Bandai-Namco.

    He juggles his time between being a freelance comic writer and a professor teaching drawing and storytelling courses in Seneca College’s award-winning Animation program.

    His current comic projects include Conan the Barbarian, the monthly adventures of Robert E. Howard’s legendary sword & sorcery hero, Dungeons & Dragons, the official comic series of the world’s most popular tabletop role-playing game, and Stone Star, a space-fantasy adventure set inside a roving gladiatorial arena.

A surprise to be sure! This comic was dropped on the world without any kind of hype or even an announcement and honestly thank God for that. I hate how the industry works around solicitations that use spoilers as a selling point minths ahead of time. Here the creators have full control to release the story they want how and when they want.

And boy is it a story! The artwork beautifully brings us into the world and the story makes sure we want to stick around. Looking forward to seeing more of the Stone Star and the relationship between Dail and Vollness.

As I'm getting back into my comic binge, I have purchased a lot of ok storytelling. Well, this intro was very good. I like learning new characters and if they are worth following. This looks like something I can follow and see where the characters go. Overall, great introduction.
