Lobdell is best known for his work on Marvel's X-Men franchise in the 1990's, penning such works as Uncanny X-Men, Excalibur, The Age of Apocalypse, Generation X, amongst others. I was a little hesitant on buying this volume after I read Vol. 1 and 2, but I am glad I made this purchase because the artwork was MUCH BETTER and the story was very fun to read too. This volume became my favorite until I read Vol. 4 which was better, but I will have to say I did like the artwork in this one better than 1, 2, and 4. If you've already bought Vol. 1 and 2, and thought it was a little boring, have no fear this one makes up for it.

My favorite volume so far! Yes, you do have to go with the flow if you haven't read the Superboy or Supergirl or Justice League comics yet, but that's half the fun! Anyway, Lobdell and Rocafort have become my favorite comic team! Beautiful art and a well paced story. Don't get discouraged if you haven't read the other characters' books yet, when you do, everything will be more rounded out.
