The book follows the game nicely while still making it stand on its own with the details in each panel. Unlike the games which are stand still images that serve for the story telling actually being able to see them interact (In the form of a manga) gives a better immersion than the games.

First picture of opening this Manga is a 12yo looking girl wearing nothing waist down. Nevering buying the game or the 2nd part of the manga. Ruined the whole story for me.

Modest is the hottest. But Abec doesn't seem to realize that. Why do they have to ruin good stories with slutty trash?!

I never played nor knew Bandai Namcos version on the game for consoles but this is based on that, with the Bandai (the leadness comments attributed to them, as the author even says blame them in a forward since he wasn't the solo writer this time. I will gladly deviate and see where this heads as it's sad it's short but I enjoy a new creative approach

4.0 out of 5 stars Buena historia, pero con imágenes algo explícitas

4.0 out of 5 stars Game to manga adaptation.

This manga is based on an alternate universe series of games.
It has all the existing cast members from SAO/ALO/GGO and a new take of the world of aincrad where it is revealed that all npcs are unique with higher AIs levels and if one dies arent respawned and instead replaced with another npc to do the job needed.

I have yet to play the games themselves but this is a pretty interesting story but with the fanservice upped up quite a bit compared to the normal series.

So this is the Manga adaptation of the PS4, PS Vita and PC Action JRPG, Sword Art Online Hollow Realization. Volume 1 adapts the first part of the Ground Quest and there was a lot of feeling put into it, that gives a bit of comedy and emotion to the scenes that felt pretty robotic in the game. I'm hoping this will get an anime series or OVA series as it will be a good way to introduce the now formerly game-exclusive characters to fans who couldn't get into the games.

In my opinion, if you're an SAO fan, they is definitely worth checking out, if you're a neutralist then it depends whether you like the genre or not. If you're not at least a neutralist, you're not likely to enjoy this unless you at least played the game
