The development of the manga just keeps on getting better. More mysteries more problems more action and more on developing relationships towards one another. This is a great manga and condition of the manga was good.

I loved the time travel thing and all of the misterious situations Tanigawa-san uses to deliver with this story

I finally know why Asahina is so nervous around Nagato. Kind of a bland excuse.. Still.

This was definitely a fun read, one of the best so far. If you're disputing between two series, this included, buy this one first. It's better.

4.0 out of 5 stars Intrigues Part Two
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on March 18, 2013
This fourteenth volume of 'The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya' manga continues the adaption of 'The Intrigues of Haruhi Suzumiya' storyline that sees Kyon encounter a Mikuru Asahina who has come back from eight days in the future on the orders of his future self. Kyon must now hide the future Asahina from both Haruhi and the current timeline's Asahina while completing a number of tasks left for him by the adult Asahina. Complicating matters is that Haruhi herself has her own plans for the week.

This manga version of 'The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya' continues to be an interesting read and, although I am still not a great fan of the art style, I feel it does a reasonably good job of adapting the source material. Having said this, there are still some parts of the story that the original Light Novels do slightly better but that is usual for adaptions and there are still many parts that the manga does well. While this part of the 'Intrigues' storyline is mostly setup for the future it still includes some interesting moments including a bit more information on Tsuruya and her family, something I liked as she is one of my favourite characters from the series.

Overall this was a good instalment of 'The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya' manga and deserves around four and a half stars.
