For some reason Amazon has a bunch of reviews for a different book by a different author and illustrator. Robin's book is about a young man who is different. He doesn't speak he has trouble communicating with the people of his village and they do not respond well to it. It is about the growth of the boy and the people as they learn to forgive and accept who they are and who others are. It is beautifully illustrated by the same man who wrote the book. Highly recommend, would also be very helpful for helping kids understand people with neurodivergent conditions, particularly autism.

With the illustrator of Harrow Country, Tyler Crook, this fantasy adventure teams up a thief and a soldier in a missiong to stop a giant creature from completely leveling their city. It has good visuals, interesting characters and some mystery downnthe ride.

I would have love to see more exploration into this world and see where else it can go, to see what becomes of Ave, or even the rest of the kids and Phul--does he help them, does he stay a guard or reevaluate his path? I went and got emotionally invested, and then it ended. Definitely a type of disappointment that can only be viewed as a good thing. I hope to see more in the future. Also, am I a nerd or was the name Hey You a reference to the dog from Highway to Heaven?

This is a comic that shows a lot of promise but the world is too quickly concluded. You have a lot of great PIECES here but the pie isn't whole. There needs to be a continued comic for this book to really deserve its recommendation, because on its own, it feels too much like a tease. The stakes aren't there to get invested knowing it will quickly end, leaving a lot to be desired from the previewed world.

Very nice and encouraging story, it is a good-feel story, you can't predict the outcome which makes you curious. The very detailed illustrations are absolutely awesome. Robin Kaip is a very talented writer and artist

Ave is a young girl. She is a thief by necessity. Her climbing the Stone King has put in motion a tale of plot twist and adventure. A fun read.

This is an original story, beautifully drawn and left me wanting more. Written as if for children due to its innocent tones, but the darkness is ever present and hinted at throughput.

A good storyline, a tidy ending that satisfies but leaves room for more, and lovely artwork to boot. Worth the time spent reading it.
