The Technopriests Vol. 7: The Perfect Game Kindle & comiXology

4.0 4.0 out of 5 stars 29 ratings

The cosmic adventures of a young boy on his path to ridding the galaxy of an insidious technological plague. After the Greek tragedy of The Metabarons, Alexandro Jodorowsky comes back to his biblical roots with this quest reminiscent of Moses and set on a galactic scale. To top it off, the characters and the theme of virtual reality are tailor-made for artist Zoran Janjetov ( Before The Incal ), who finds in Jodorowsky his perfect match. Albino, hero of this space odyssey, remembers here his childhood, his apprenticeship, and the big and small battles he had to fight to fulfill his ambitions in a universe where technological advances are paradoxically matched only by the cruelty and the barbarism of the forces controlling it.

Albino has reached the end of his travel with his 500 000 followers. Now that the story of her mother Panepha was just her in hibernation somehow I feel it less interesting. But well, is the story of Albino and as so is strange to see that if the universe have beings like him why the Metabaron wouldn't have more antagonists.

Next volume is the conclusion and I will see if the saga is truly a great one or ends in an esoteric way.

Our hero Albino explains what occurred to cause his separation from his subjects. The Technopriest seek revenge for the blasphemy of Albino. How can one man defend against the full united force of his previous subjects. Galactic war is at hand. The artwork keeps this story moving fast.
