Yet another author who doesn't seem to have a clue as to Widow's back story. The most glaring mistake being that while she was married to Alexei she was not a part of the Black Widow program. His death was used to push her firmly into it so that she could get revenge on the US for his "death".
After 3 issues we're dealing with the same BS we've had in the last 3 runs. Most notably of which is that this is a rehash of the Waid/Samnee run with someone she was in the Red Room with coming back to cause problems. I guess those two didn't tell that story well enough.
And then there's the whole clone ridiculousness. Which was Marvel trying to salvage the disaster that was Secret Empire. But if the Red Room could always bring Natasha back into the fold if she died, then it makes ZERO sense they would have allowed her to defect, become an Avenger, tear down their organization and just live her life when they could have just killed her and brought a clone back into the fold.
This is why your sales are crap Marvel. I've read better fanfiction.
Then let's get to the covers for this short (There is a God!) run... A woman of 90, who appears to be 30 with a creepy little girl face and a hypersexualized body. Cause that's not icky or anything.

How customer reviews and ratings work
Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
