The cities Beneath

The cities Beneath
(1 rating)

World War I. An Indian soldier discovers a mysterious underworld beneath the death-filled battlefields of northern France. Desperate to return home, he flees the war through this network of tunnels. On his track is a British Major, who has vowed to hunt down the deserter. A chase develops, and the mysteries of the world beneath the world are revealed. The story is a tribute to "pulp" adventure novels as well as the legends of the "hollow earth". Writer Jai Undurti puts together a complex myth-laden script while artist Fabian Stoltz conjures up memorable and striking images.
