"Dan Abnett and Brett Booth offer everything a Titans fan wants and more." --IGN

"As a whole,
Titans stages a lovely reunion for its characters and clearly establishes friendship as the true core of this series." --Comic Book Resources

About the Author

Dan Abnett lives and works in Maidstone, Kent. After graduating from Oxford, he worked for a while as an editor of comics and children's books before turning to writing full-time. In the dozen or so years since then, he has written for such a diverse range of characters--including Scooby-Doo, Thunderbirds, Conan the Barbarian, the X-Men, Johnny Bravo, Batman, Rupert the Bear, Doctor Who, Mr. Men, the Terminator and Postman Pat--that he is now clinically bewildered. He created the popular series Sinister Dexter, which he continues to write, along with other strips, for 2000 AD, and helped rejuvenate Resurrection Man for DC Comics.

I loved how Nightwing recruited Raven! That was my favorite part! Can't wait to see her regain her soul self next volume.

Good read

I really wish the pre-Titans (that were in issue #1) were a part of this current team of Donna Troy, Nightwing, Miss Martian, Raven, and Beast Boy. Honestly, I do not think there is nothing wrong with the new blood of Titans and I dig the mission statement but yeah I wish the foes they faced were a bit more menacing. For instance why couldn't the Titans battle the Fearsome Five or some new emergence group that oppose the Titans mission statement or even a shadowed group in wanting to weapon the emergence meta people instead of a cult that hardly had any powers. Why not use characters like Cheshire or Madame Rouge who can be great foils to the Titans. Also, why not flourish the relationship between Beast Boy and Raven, which would be doped. And yeah I prefer them back at Titans tower than their new place.

The art is good, but the story is great. The twist on the Titans to now be a team to help new metahumans. It's a great read.

I was loving the new Titans title. With a few gripes (which there always are), it was going well. Then, someone somewhere got the idea to shake things up, I guess. For me, it's not working. I don't like this at all. Some of it is the result of the 'Metal' fiasco... some of it is just.... that it sucks. I was a big 'Rebirth' fan, thisgs were going mostly really well with the DC line; but since 'Metal', it's starting to go to crap again. Don't know how the rest of the audience feels, but DC... you're slowly losing me here.

I felt like the writing in this one really dropped off in terms of quality. The story was really tough to get into and never really took off for me. It felt more like reading a bunch of awkward one-shots rather than a continuous story.

I’ve a Titans fan since the 80s. This new spin is just awful, and for the first time since I was nine-years-old, it’s not on my pull list. A pox on “METAL;” it ruined my favorite characters.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nouvelle équipe !
Reviewed in France on February 13, 2022
Nightwing recrute !
