This story was very good. It took no time to read, but was full of action and character. The art was great as well.

One of my favorite comics in the Archie Horror Universe. Not too gory but still had a few low level frights to make it enjoyable for most readers.

I have been familiar with the _Archie_ mythos for a long time; I used to watch the animated versions on Saturday morning TV. Recently, the company's taken an interesting new turn, with "horror" versions of its familiar story.
In this, Veronica Lodge, local rich girl, is bitten (along with her family) by a vampire, and becomes one herself. As it happens, all is put back to normal by the end, but I thought that this could have been explored much more deeply. Having Veronica have to come to terms with her new existence, and struggle with her blood thirst, might have shown us parts of her character that we never get to see in the main _Archie_ series, where she alternates between rich-bitch and just-another-of-the-gang, depending on who's writing it. How would our Ronnie change, knowing that she is now close to invulnerable and can live for centuries unchanged?
And what of the rest of the Riverdale gang? Would Archie and Betty become Ronnie's companions in vampirism, or would they form a posse of vampire hunters? If it came down to it, COULD Archie and Betty drive a stake through the heart of someone whom they've known for years, as a friend (and more)?

Good story, art work looked like photos altered in photoshop
Reviewed in Japan on October 31, 2019
It’s a great concept, but I can’t help thinking that the illustrations are photos of models altered in photoshop to look like illustrations. Maybe I’m wrong, but the aesthetic didn’t appeal to me overall. Nice story though.
