After Vol 1: Homecoming, I had low expectations, but high hopes. Eddie Brock's Venom is one of my favorite characters, and I had my fingers crossed that this new arc would be solid. I was not let down in the slightest. The art is absolutely phenomenal (including a flashback using an older art style to really sell it) and the story is everything I could've hoped for. There's a lot of strife between Eddie and the Venom symbiote, having been apart for so long, bouncing between hero, anti-hero, and villain. It opens up tons of new avenues for character development while keeping the same old, violent Venom that we know and love. Oh and he gets into a bunch of fights, as you'd expect. And it's AWESOME.
