Marvel's "What If?" comics have made their triumphant return this year, in 2018. The series in the past was a way for writers to explore possible directions the Marvel Universe may have taken if events went a different direction than what we're familiar with. For this issue, we explore a world where Peter Parker's greatest failure drove him in a more violent direction. Enter the Spider-Punisher, created by writer Carl Potts and artist Juanan Ramírez. It's an interesting take on the character of Spider-Man, and watching points in his history play out so differently is great. The artwork really fits the tone of the story perfectly as well. I really enjoyed this comic, and more importantly am happy this series is back.
