Kieron Gillen is a British writer, journalist and critic best known for his work in comics and his previous work in entertainment journalism.

Gillen's first graphic novel, PHONOGRAM (with artist/co-creator Jamie McKelvie), was published through IMAGE COMICS in 2006. Since then he's found work writing for MARVEL, AVATAR, BOOM, TOKYOPOP, DYNAMITE and more that don't spring to mind right now.

Books he's created included UBER, MERCURY HEAT and THREE, but is best known for the ongoing gods-as-popstar series with long time collaborators Jamie McKelvie and Matt Wilson THE WICKED + THE DIVINE launched to both huge critical and commercial success in 2014. It will conclude in 2019.

He is working on other things.

In his previous life as a critic, his work has appeared in WIRED, THE GUARDIAN, PLAYSTATION MAGAZINE UK, PC GAMER, EDGE and far too many others to count. In 2007 he was one of the founders of ROCKPAPERSHOTGUN.COM, what is now the world's premier PC-centric games blog.

He once played records for DMC to rap over.

I loved the story. This is a dark story, and not recommended for children. It is a great sequel to the first book, which was great, too.

Got this as a gift for my husband for Christmas to add to his Wolverine Gothic Novel collection & he loved it.So do I as he introduced me to the Wolverine Graphic novels after watching the movie which left me feeling disappointed because I felt it didn't do the character justice. As usual, typical books tell a better story & give more details so I became hooked. The illustration is excellent. So this is actually a twofer because we both get to read a story we like & add to his collection!

Not as good as the first but still worth the read.

High hopes for this novel, but I was personally let down. The build up in the first "Origin" was pretty good/great but this did nothing but raise more questions, and cause confusion. It felt like a intermission to something that was suppose to be apart of the story, but was missing. Characters that were introduced did nothing but cause confusion, and make you question if you skipped a page. Overall, if this story were to continue (hopefully it does) this will be the weak point I would assume. Worth reading if you enjoyed the first, but not a must in your collection.

Another great Wolverine Origin story. This one was filled with tragedy. I finally got to learn how his bitter relationship with Sabretooth first started. This is a Wolverine book worth buying for!

Some comic books are collectors editions and others are regular issues . This is a regular comic book masquerading as a collectors edition. After WOLVERINE ORIGIN , I was expecting another mind blowing story but what I got was an extremely mediocre one. The artwork is fabulous though. With that price tag (over Rs 1000/-) this is a waste of money
