Start of yet another era

Finally we are past the Amazons attack tie in or aftermath issues. Thisbmarksbthe start of the Gail Simone run. A well known and respected female writer on the most iconic female character dc has, it sounds like a great match, but this issue has only decent. I'm not crazy about how Simone wrote nemesis, she writes him as kind of over protective, also the return that he doesn't know diana is wonderwoman still annoys me. The main workbooks interesting enough, although I'm unclear how the society gets to paradise island after it was shown last issue to have some sort of shield over it that blocked even Diana from getting in.
